REPEATABLE GPF

I can repeat the following GPF.

1> WinVN -
2> - select articles in article window
3> - select file to save to, save
4> - restore minized article window
5> - close article window
6> - close the OK saved articles message
7> GPF

MS TCP/IP version = 5/26/95
GenSockDLL = genasync.dll
WinVN Version = 0.99.6

Dr. Watson log file is available. If there is any other information that I
can provide please ask.

SUGGESTIONS
- make a menu option that will report the debugging information that you
need, like Winsock, WinVN version, GenSockDLL, etc.
- On save articles don't create and minimize an article window. If I didn't
have one open to begin with I don't want it.
- make a READ ALL function on the group listing window.

Thanks,

Hi, sorry to bother you, but I read the manual and can't get it to work.

I checked and I have Wsocket32.dll in the C:\windows\system file.
i am using trumpet winsock and all my other applications like
netscape, qws3270, eudora, all work fine, so it is not the connection.

I love your program as I use it on my old home computer but I just
got this new one with win95 and I can't get past that error.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks
Joe

Hi guys,

I am experiencing a problem (probably mine <g>) that I have not been =
able to resolve with version 0.99.6.

After loading all the newsgroups (about 23 thousand), I try to save the =
list an get an "Can not rename somefile.tmp" error (I beleive =
somefile=3DNewVN.TMP?).

Then each time, I load NewVN, I have to reload the newsgroups list again =
and re-subscribe. =20

Is this something I can fix on my end?

Thanks kindly for your help!
